這是一則屬於人為的災難新聞。災難新聞是所有英語新聞中最容易懂的，因此David老師常建議學員先從災難新聞入手。世界各地經常有不同的災難發生，但災難的過程與救援則是類似的。

像車禍是car crash, 墜機是plane crash，火車相撞是train crash,或train collision，火車脫軌則是train derailment。

災難發生後，最重要的就是傷亡（casualty）的報導，死亡總數（death toll）是多少，有多少死者（the dead, the deceased, fatality, mortality），有多少傷者（the injured, the wounded, the harmed）。

We now have an update on the fatal train crash in Shandong Province in China yesterday. Authorities blame excessive speed for the country's worst train accident in more than a decade. Two trains slammed into each other near Zibo, killing at least 70 people.
